Information About me

Kaoma is a Humanitarian activist, with a background in risk and disaster Management, Mentor, Refugee advocate, and Founder & Director of KUA Initiative. KUA Initiative is a Community-Based Organization (CBO) that serves refugees and hosts promoting Education by providing digital skills, advocating for Children living with disability, and GBV awareness. As the Founder and CEO of the KUA Initiative, I am passionate about advocating for refugees with disabilities. My ultimate goal is to create a world where everyone has access to supportive and inclusive environments that empower them with digital literacy to live their best lives despite the challenges they face. am committed to shining a light on the often overlooked issues affecting refugees with disabilities, especially young people, and developing innovative solutions to enhance their quality of life and integration into society. My technical expertise as a web developer and electrical wiring engineer allows me to leverage the power of technology to create sustainable solutions that make a real difference in people's lives. Being a member of the YALI Network, I am part of a community of leaders who share my commitment to driving positive change across Africa and beyond. I believe that by working together and collaborating with like-minded professionals and organizations, we can truly make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. I am inspired every day by the resilience and strength of the people I work with, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in their lives.
